Do you need a place to stay?

It looks like we all should be looking for a place to stay for at least weeks if not months. I know that some of you are in hotels. I have had many people contact me with offers of places to stay in Birmingham, Atlanta, Tennesee, Dallas, New Jersey, etc. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need a place to stay. Needless to say, these families are willing to house you, feed you, perhaps help you find temporary employment, perhaps help get your children enrolled in school.

If you are not from New Orleans, and would like to provide housing, contact me as well.

Call me on my cell (504-975-7570) or email me. Yes, you should be able to get me on my cell. It might take a couple of tries.

We were also blessed to be a part of the Berean Family just a few years ago. We still feel like you are our family--
We are just north a little in Memphis-- we can house at least 10-15 extra people here... we have a camper that sleeps 8 comfortable. If you homeschool-- we do too & we have access to all the curriculum you need, if not, we have the best schools in the county (Tipton).

PLEASE LET US GIVE BACK THE BLESSINGS YOU GAVE TO US- (WE HAD THE TWINS & YOU ALL TOOK CARE OF US WHEN WE ALMOST LOST THEM). You took care of CJ & the kids when Vince was deployed!
You changed our lives forever with the love of Jesus! Now it's our blessing to serve.

We will be moving to Dallas,TX next year after Vince retires from the Navy, to attend Seminary for full time ministry- Berean Family- YOU taught us what true ministry was all about!

Woffords, Midtbos, Peggy Miller-- & many more... Please let us hear from you.
Our numbers are:
901-294-2676hm
901-413-7307cell
call collect if you have to!
We will come get you also!
Parents-- We will take care of the kids if you need to take care of business down there-- Anyone who knows us, knows we keep as many as 10 more kids at a time besides our 5 for things that come up... Our hearts are sooo burdened for NOLA!
Let us know what we can do!

We are lifting you up in prayer continually!
We Love you!
The Willis Family-

Here's another one for you to think about! One of the ministries of Pike Creek Bible Church is Pike Creek Christian School. We would like to invite anyone from Berean Bible Church, who chooses to temporarily relocate to our area, to enroll their children in our school FOR FREE! Stay with one of our church families and have 'peace of mind' that your kids education will not be interrupted. www.pikecreekchristianschool.org
It's certainly worth more than the airfare!

Yes we are very far away but my sister is thinking of sending my nephew since he will not be able to go to school for a while and we will homeschool him. So if anyone would like to come or even send your teenager our home is open. We are on the island of Oahu' in Hawaii. Our number is 808-372-4475. I know it sounds crazy to come this far but if we can help we would love to do that in any way possible.
Love ,

Doug - we attended Berean from 1994-1996, and have since been in San Antonio, Colorado Springs, and now the Washington DC area. We have spare beds for 6, and can put additional kids in sleeping bags on the floor. We're in Clarksburg, MD, 20 minutes from the Shady Grove Metro station. If there is a big family, we'd be glad to have them for as many months as necessary.
There are decent schools in the area, though we still homeschool.

Hi,

I am a pastor of a Bible Church in RI, and I am looking for a Christian family that needs housing. I would prefer to help a young family with children. If you could get back to me, I would love to be a blessing.

To my brothers & sisters of other Bible churches. It's very exciting to see us all respond to Berean Bible Church's need. How about we "pool" our resources! Let's work together to provide uninterupted support for Berean's missionary family and let's offer to pay the pastor's salaries for a year so they can return to New Orleans and co-ordinate outreach efforts to their community! We have already discussed modifying our budget in order to help. Why not join us! Together we can make a difference! PCBC is willing to organize such an effort...if you all are interested. Please contact us at Dodson@PikeCreekBC.org and let us know if you'd like to be part of this effort. Hang in there Brad & Doug. Help is on the way!!!

I just sent an email to our pastor. We have a bed (not a room - sorry) in our boy's room.
We are half a block from excellent public transportation in the middle of San Francisco.
Can help with many things - and I think students can transfer to SF-State
http://www.sfsu.edu/~news/prsrelea/fy05/016.htm

please contact our church http://www.bethelsf.org/ with detailed situation - and we'll do our best to help.

If God planed someone for us, He'll make it happen.

It's a joy to see so many believers around the country coming alongside. We went to Berean 20+ years ago, and we're now in the Chicago area. Would welcome a family to stay with us!

Hi Doug,

My husband is a pastor in Maryland - we moved from Pennsylvania in March. We stil have a 3 BR house there (Tyrone, PA - about 30 minutes from Penn State) we are willing to make it available to a non-smoking family for 1-2 months. I know our church families in both states would help to supply the family with essentials for living.
